Since the publication of this article, @AbuIyaadSP Amjad Rafīq has once again issued another of his routine “retractions.” Convenient. Predictable. He blurts, apologizes, backtracks and repeats. The Salafīs have already seen the rancid thinking he harbours toward the scholars of Ahlus-Sunnah. They will not be bitten from the same hole twice. This is his pattern: sophistry dressed as repentance. Each time, he offers just enough to relieve pressure, then resurfaces unchanged. Strip this latest “retraction” down and its meaning is plain: I retract nothing. I merely “regret” the noise and the damage, not to the daʿwah, but to the Maktabah’s image. Digital traces can be erased. That is not the issue. What is recorded with the scribes of Allāh will not be undone. O Allāh, grant us safety. And these “scholars” to whom matters should now supposedly be referred to, who are they? Nizār? Fawwāz? Ḥudhayfī? Sālimī? These are the very figures you have propped up and elevated. From them came the very attacks you directed against the recognized scholars: ʿAllāmah Al-Buk͟hārī and ʿArafāt Al-K͟hayr —despite you and your cohorts at the Maktabah, whom you have now effectively abandoned, despite the parting advice of Imām ʿUbayd, who specifically directed you to these two. Perish in your rage. The Salafīs will continue to counter you by affirming, defending, and transmitting the commendations of Rabīʿ and ʿUbayd concerning these two scholars.
