I grew up in Etobicoke in the 1980s and 1990s and lived there right up until I got married. All my childhood friends were Italian, Portuguese or Polish. Do you know what they did on A Saturday morning? The attended languages classes in our schools-where they learned Italian, Portuguese and Polish. The real issue is their skin colour. So call it what it is.

@ClaudeTan911 L’anglais n’est pas la « langue des affaires ». L’anglais est surtout la langue majoritaire continentale dans le contexte nord-américain. La raison pour laquelle ces jeunes francos ont du mal à travailler en français c’est qu’ils ne sont qu’une petite minorité insignifiante.

I was watching the inauguration of the new Quebec premier, and it's wild how much Quebec does its own thing and brazenly ignores everything Ottawa insists is important. Like, there was no land acknowledgment, they cut out all references to the monarchy, and nothing was bilingual.

Immigrants that comes here dont mingle with us they stay with their own community and impose their way of living over us. Their voices are starting to overcome ours in certain areas so yes we will stand up
