@LinnBotanics yep. this is most definitely a thing. super frustrating.

I am getting utterly sick of the kids' school refusing to accept that a father can be the primary point of contact for the kids' issues. I don't know what the hell offends them so much about the idea, but they absolutely refuse to accept it no matter how often they're told.
