To clarify: Yes, Daemon has received funding, and it came in larger than expected from a major Solana-related business. Due to legal constraints and standard NDA requirements, we cannot disclose the angel investor’s identity at this time. This is the funding behind the upcoming hackathon, but it also gives us the ability to move faster across partnerships, marketing, and developer onboarding. We’re building out a stronger team around Daemon with people who believe in the vision and understand the opportunity ahead. Daemon is the first of its kind. And this is only the beginning.

@maxdegenerate @esotericpigeon The problem is that it was a very obvious to anyone who looked at dev wallet there was a problem. I was getting DM's with an hour of compromise. Not something I could or was willing to hide. Maybe I prevent a panic sell but it probably looks the same either way

The RiverBoat Gambling token was compromised and the dev wallet with 10% of supply locked is in the hands of the hacker. No dev or community should have to go through this, so I will create the official relaunch and redirect fees as well as the 10% of supply back to @riverboat_x.

Everyone, Our dev wallet was compromised last night through a social engineering attack while providing technical assistance to a presumed community member. The compromised wallet holds 10% of supply, locked until June 1. We have no control over what the wallet holder does with those tokens at unlock. This means that the $Riverboat token should no longer be actively traded. I have removed the CA from our socials. @Pumpfun has not indicated they are willing or able to remove it from the catalog. It goes without saying that I've made a gigantic error in judgment. Worse yet I've let down everyone who supported Riverboat up to this point, and I don't yet know whether there is any recourse. Technically, mainnet development can and will continue—the protocol itself is unaffected. Pending a clean security audit the alpha can still be released as planned. For now, I intend to take a few days to sit down and map out a realistic path forward. If you have recommendations or ideas, I’m genuinely open to hearing them; reply here or reach out directly. I will be back with concrete updates on the product once there is something real to show.
