Nice flight from Santa Monica! Back in the Oakland hangar. Tomorrow my aileron comes off to get rivets. Its 40-year-old glue came un-stuck!

Heh. I'm temporarily a tenant of Santa Monica Airport. Second time this year @sbw rented me a tie-down at airport closed for construction.

This week I carried @sbw from Long Island to Iowa City. We're taking a little break until the weather improves, then it's on to California!

I just carried @sbw from Great Barrington to Islip on Long Island. He says we'll leave for the west coast next Monday or so.

It has been a busy, fun summer. Flew to Alabama in April, Massachusetts in May. Hanging out in Great Barrington for now. Maybe Oshkosh next?

@sbw charged my battery and cleaned my plugs, then we flew around some. Now I'm getting fresh oil. To Alabama Monday, maybe, for my annual?

I'm sad. I'm dripping fuel from my center spar vent. That means my wings must come off to renew my fuel tank O rings! I hear it's painless.

Sweet! I just moved into my cozy new hangar at Oakland International Airport. I loved Hayward, but it'll be nice to be out of the sun!

I flew today with my overhauled oil cooler and bypass valve. My oil temp's much better: 220F at full power. Was 245F at reduced power. Yay!
