The Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan has delivered 530 tons of essential humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, Palestine, via the Rafah crossing in Egypt, which will be distributed among 22,000 families. This assistance was provided under the directive of the esteemed Office of the Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. The aid was procured and prepared by a delegation sent by the Islamic Emirate to the Arab Republic of Egypt and has now reached Gaza through the Rafah crossing. The aid consists of 530 tons of food supplies transported in 42 trucks, with an approximate value of 500,000 US dollars. It includes food items, clothing, and other essential goods, and will be distributed to around 22,000 families. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan calls on influential parties to make meaningful efforts toward establishing a ceasefire in Gaza. The Islamic Emirate once again reiterates its principled stance on the Palestinian issue, emphasizing that it should be resolved based on historical realities and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

The decision by the United Nations Security Council to renew the sanctions list against certain Afghan officials is considered ineffective and unlawful. Such restrictions not only fail to produce any positive results, but also have negative impacts on the situation of the Afghan people. When senior members of an institution are placed under sanctions, the functioning of that institution is affected, and as a result, ordinary people also face difficulties. In addition, these sanctions are seen as a form of pressure against the rights of Afghans. To resolve existing issues, it is necessary to adopt approaches based on understanding and engagement, and international organizations should work toward fostering closer relations and cooperation rather than applying pressure.

According to international law and the principles of maritime law, every landlocked country such as Afghanistan has the right to access open seas through neighboring states, and those neighboring countries must not deny or violate this right. Throughout history, due to changes in political boundaries, Afghanistan has been separated from direct access to the sea. As a result, Afghans continue to face numerous challenges stemming from this deprivation. The Afghan people call upon the international community to make efforts to facilitate their renewed access to maritime routes, so that they are not compelled to resort to force in order to secure this established right.
