This is the fastest verified mainnet TPS of real (non-voting) transactions, achieved by any distributed ledger technology to date. You're right, and I like the idea of very low perpetual inflation, especially for PoW cryptos limited to payments like $BTC or $XMR (which has a fixed tail emission), to continue rewarding miners over time. For chains with smart contracts where value can be created (such as businesses), ideally, I would prefer a model similar to Silvio Micali's philosophy where validators receive no incentives at all (or only via txns fees), and all users (especially companies, institutions, etc.) would have a mutual interest in securing the network themselves. It's quite radical and requires huge adoption, but I really don't like the idea of a chain's security being tied to its profitability, and it's probably the most sustainable long-term solution.. but this is obviously only possible on low-energy chains that encourage individual participation in consensus and don't require expensive hardware (like Algorand or MultiversX)

It's interesting to note that $ETH has turned inflationary over the past months. What about the ultrasound money narrative? 🤔 That's the issue with cryptos without a capped supply: the mechanism can be interesting, but if you're looking for token scarcity, it could be terrible. I personally prefer to invest in tokens like $ALGO with a limited and capped supply. 👉 It's one of the L1 with the largest percentage of its max supply already released (82.3%), and there will never be more than 10 billion tokens. All to be released by 2030. Anonymous game developer studio of a half dozen people, who’ve worked on many games in the past but never finished them, and can’t tell us what these games are— but they’re still working on them, randomly decides to build on Algorand and asks people to connect their web3 wallet with all their valuables to sign transactions when the “early access” goes live in a few days? No thanks. Be safe out there. Might be legit. Might not be. Don’t let them prey on human emotions of being “early”. I’ll be super late and miss things, it’s all good. Take your time. Slow down. Think for a second. This is web3. Don’t get scammed by anon asking you to trust them with a fancy story. The only reason you’re hearing about their “game” or whatever they’re building is because they’ve spent the last few weeks reaching out in DMs privately to Algorand social media influencers, community, people we know and trust, and offering them early access for their holders. They’ve not earned our trust. They tried to leach off known community members sharing their project for them. This has been my opinion only and I’m glad to be wrong in 5 years if they’re still building… but this game studio is anon, team is anon, they claim to have interns and they’re anon too. I’m not trusting them with my Algorand wallet.
