Great advice @commaficionado @AMASEdin chat yesterday. "Let #ActuallyAutistic CYP play, access to passions/interests 1st/alongside, NOT as reward, but as support." No cost to school. Instead, Acceptance, Belonging, Connection @drchrisjbailey @thewoodbug @JoPavlopoulou @MrTs_NQTs

All play is ok! #Play brings joy, a way of learning in an enjoyable meaningful way & also supports sensory regulation. Lots of great info here from Kerry Murphy @Tapestry_FSF padlet.com/spectrumgaming…

I’d like to work towards becoming a university lecturer in Critical Autism Studies post-MA study. I’m also interested in curriculum development as a means of embedding intersectional perspectives of Autism into academia. Does anybody know how I can go about achieving this?

Slightly late to my own party, but I'm really excited to share that my first ever first-author paper is out now! 😁 We validated the participatory design process that went into developing the #LEANSproject - a neurodiversity teaching programme for primary schools 👇 (1/8)

An excellent article. Despite 5 decades of failing, a poor quality and light weight evidence base, and human rights and disabled people's organisations not supporting them, behaviourist approaches continue to be promoted to to deal with disabled people's behaviours.
