Taehyung's head snapped to look at him. "Started again....what do you mean?" He asked, eyes wide. "Oh... That's... I mean ... I thought hyung would have told you... " "Told me about what?" Jungkook sighed deeply. "I don't think it's my place to say it, hyung. Sorry."

"I want to d-do so many things." The omega furrowed his eyebrows. "What else?" He didn't even know why he asked that. His first and last priority at the moment should be getting Jungkook home safely and stop him from spitting nonsense. But here he was. Instead of doing the necessary, he was asking the younger stupid questions. But could he deny that he wasn't curious? "I-I want to—" The alpha stuttered. Taehyung could feel him smiling against his skin. Jungkook's face even turned more red. "I want to p-put my pups in y-you. Can we make them together?" In simple words, he wanted to mate with Taehyung.

"I want to make you mine." And Jungkook's voice was back to being vulnerable. "I want you to belong to me a-and I want to belong to you. Can't you just ignore my age and accept me?" He asked with his puppy eyes filled with tears. "I am not a kid anymore so please don't treat me like that. I am an adult and I promise I will take care of you. Like a mature man." He sniffled, scooting even closer to the omega if that was even possible. The alpha still looked the same to Taehyung. Just his perspective changed about him now. Because of the sudden confession. It was something Taehyung never guessed. So he was still having a hard time digesting the news and recovering from the shock. "I know you like your partner older than you but I really can't change my age, can I?"

"I w-want to kiss here," Jungkook whispered. His voice was dangerously low. Then his fingers trailed down to the elder's neck and pressed on the skin before he spoke, "and here." Taehyung gulped, his throat bobbing against the other's finger. He really didn't know how to respond to this situation. He was clueless. And stunned. Things were happening completely out of his control. But despite the nervousness and shock, he didn't even realize that he was not feeling uncomfortable. He didn't even notice. All he could feel was his heart beating fast and his mind thinking that this was wrong. Because the alpha was a lot younger than him.

The omega let out a gasp and quickly placed his hands on Jungkook's chest to keep him at a distance from him. He slowly shook his head. "W-what are you saying? Don't—" he widened his eyes when Jungkook started leaning forward. He also leaned back instinctively, pressing himself against the couch. He might not have noticed or cared that much before but now he kind of realized how big and buffed Jungkook was. The way he leaned in, he was almost hovering over the omega and towering his figure. Somehow, he felt caged. In between the younger's arms. Jungkook looked dead serious. And it scared the omega.

Tae gripped the door tighter. He nodded , not saying anything. Jungkook walked away without looking back and Taehyung sagged against the door frame. Jeon Jungkook was way too intense for him.

"i-I don't know who made this mark..." Seriously Taehyung? That was the first thing you thought of saying after listening to the other? He asked himself, cursing under his breath. He slowly looked up to meet the younger's eyes and his heart audibly shattered. Jungkook looked so broken and he cried and stared at him helplessly. Yet there was hope and expectations in his eyes. Why? Was he expecting a positive answer from Taehyung? "How can y-you not know?" "J-just trust me." And Taehyung knew that the younger would. And he was right. An awkward silence fell between them after that. Taehyung felt nervous under the other's gaze. It was never like this. Jungkook's presence seemed to feel different now. "I want to kiss you, hyung."

Taehyung closed his eyes and bit his trembling lower lip. "Was I not being obvious? Had I not given enough hints, Hyung? I thought I did. I did everything to show you that I care and I like you more than like a brother. H-how could you be so oblivious? How could you not notice a-at all?" His voice broke as he uttered. He sniffled and stared at the omega expectedly. "I have been in love with you, Hyung. I w-want you as my mate. I want to marry you, t-then..." His cheeks turned two more darker shades of pink as he spoke, "I want to give you those marks."

And that made him completely forget what the outcome could be. While Taehyung was still in denial. It was almost impossible for him to believe and take the alpha seriously. *Jungkook, I am like a brother to you—" "Please stop with this brother bullshit!" The omega flinched when Jungkook uttered that, his voice raising a little without him even realising. He wouldn't do that intentionally. But his feelings were all over the place at the time and he was overwhelmed. He reacted out of control. He was frustrated about that damn word. It seemed to haunt him for real nowadays. "I am n-not your brother. Please, don't call me that. Please, I beg you."

Jeongguk smiled, pressing a soft kiss to the side of his neck. “No. It’s a request from an alpha who never wants to let you go.” Taehyung sighed, drifting off into a deep, contented slumber, wrapped in the scent of snow-covered pine.

"T-this mark. Where d-did you get it?" Even the tone of Jungkook's voice changed. Taehyung noticed. "I don't know," he answered, looking away. "How could you not know who gave you a mark on your neck? How's that possible?" Jungkook sounded a little angry and the omega didn't understand why. "T-this is the reason I didn't go to the shop. This is the reason for me not to meet you." Taehyung frowned. "How can this be the reason? Why does it matter? How can a mere mark get you so worked up to the point you decided not to see me—" "B-because it hurts me. It makes m-me want to be the only one to give you the marks and no one else." The alpha huffed out with a growl, almost as if his wolf was speaking. "Because... I am jealous."

"Is that the only reason?" Jungkook asked. The omega furrowed his eyebrows. What else Jungkook expected to hear? He didn't say anything after that, waiting for the other to continue so he could understand and respond further. But then, Jungkook's gaze shifted. He followed the younger's eyes and breath was caught in his throat. He swallowed hard. The alpha's eyes stopped at his neck that was hidden under his shirt collar but still he felt nervous. He didn't know why but his heart started beating faster under Jungkook's dark gaze. And before he could even process, Jungkook grabbed his collar and pushed it aside with a force that immediately revealed the mark that was almost fading. But up close, it was still visible. Taehyung's hand instinctively reached out to hold the younger's wrist. "W-what are you doing?" He let out in a whisper.

"Are you even here? Or am I j-just imagining things?" The alpha whispered between his sniffles. The question made Taehyung frown. "Why would you imagine me? Do you miss me that much?" He let out a chuckle even though everything seemed very confusing to him. He didn't understand. Jungkook's behaviour was once again going above his head. He wondered why did he matter so much to the younger. He was just his best friend's brother who also loved and adored him. That was all. But why did he seem so attached to the omega? It made no sense. Taehyung was sure anyone would be confused if they heard about it.

Jeongguk’s voice dropped softly. “Can we start over, love?” Taehyung immediately giggled through tears, nodding. “Yes, Gukkie.” -fin- ˚ ✧˖°
