Grade 4-6 students were gardening today. They researched how to layer a raised garden bed, collected the required materials, & began the layering process. They used the compost from the new electric composter to help enrich the soil. They planted radish, carrot, and turnip. 🥕

Our first Intergenerational Community Kitchen went ahead today at the Lions Hall. Students and staff from grades 7-12 prepared a healthy meal of spaghetti using multigrain pasta, garden salad, garlic toast with water to about 20 seniors. We also delivered! 🥬🍅🍝🥗🥖

Our Grade 4-6 class, with Mrs. Young, had the absolute best time at Killdevil where they participated in the Outdoor Education Program as a part of the grade 5 curriculum. The students were engaged in many activities throughout their 2.5 days at camp. @NLESDCA #OutdoorClassroom
