@Shunkiroth When I first started, my experience for this game was nearly ruined because the friends trying to get me into it kept pushing me to level quickly, skip cutscenes, and rush straight to level cap content so I could join them in raids. Don't do that, don't be like them.

@JooFelipeCupert @ProbablyShea All jobs can be used forever once unlocked. But Limited Jobs have a lower level cap, so they aren't available for "current" content, because they'd be impossible to balance competitively. They have additional side content that is built for them to compensate.

@ProbablyShea ok, i know there is dlc class that you can unlock once you do the quest and use them from now on or its only for a quest line?

@PetersonAlvin @FF_XIV_EN Short version, they already established Beastmasters in Bozja as using an axe/shield combo so they could reuse assets (WAR weapon, PLD shields and animations) rather than have to create new ones for an NPC. Probably saving Whips for a full job.

@FF_XIV_EN Why ? I just want a reasonable expansion why Beast Master coming out without a Whip Weapon? I been asking for Whips since Since FFXI. With all the characters in FF Series that use them and Beast Master especially. What is the reason behind whips not being added into FF MMOs?

@zhtrolle Problem is they modeled Emma's skeleton for the coat tails, which translates only for clingy capes. Her skeleton literally CAN'T accommodate large capes or anything dangling off her shoulders/arms. Which was an insane design choice for EMMA FROST. Shoots canon looks in the face.

It's sad that Devs put more effort into upgrading Moon Knight's comic look from boring to legendary skin and at the same time they flopped Emma Frost's one which they had the whole year to work on (and fans literally can come up with better design in just a couple of days)

@salty_red_mage Do you have an outline of important events in it or are you still puzzling a few of those out? If you focus on small details this early you'll get lost in the sauce, leave those for later when you start to relax into the character.

@zhtrolle Yeah, but that's kind of a recurring issue with Blizzard – big plans leading to massive retcons, Christie Golden having the unenviable task to make the pendulum swings make sense, and finally cut content – which is really why I went from Loremaster to dropping the game entirely.

@ArchwizardDrake My copium is that Blizz laid out a roadmap for their story a long time ago. But because BfA and SL performed very poorly they had to gut a lot of content which messed up the plot and made everything very vague 🫠

Players will easily forgive Arthas, who purged Stratholme, marched through Quel'thalas and corrupted the Sunwell, killed his father and destroyed Lordaeron, ravaged Dalaran, was the reason why the Scarlet Crusade was established, etc, etc But nooooooo, Sylvanas is Нitlеr one

@zhtrolle I do agree that it's incredibly stupid that people are willing to forgive Arthas because he was manipulated or possessed – even though Stratholme showed he was always that girl – but not Sylvanas who apparently never had any agency in her own villainy.

@zhtrolle That's... complicated, since I feel like a lot of Sylvanas' motivation for SL went unexplored and the "Jailor holds her soul" thing felt like a copout after she'd been trying to convince Anduin she was trying to break the grand design for a reason but wasn't saying why.
