Week 10 at Fort Collins. We drop one on the road to a well prepared team. This game concluded my high school football career. Thankful I was able to get out there on the field one more time with my team. 3 solo tackles, and a blocked Field Goal is the final stat line for the last game of my high school career. Week 9 vs Rocky Mountain. We drop our last home game of the season. Had a rather quiet game, nonetheless made sure to fly around to the football and stay involved in every play. 3 solo tackles, 2 assist tackles, 5 total tackles. Played a lot of man coverage this week, the boys and I did a great job staying with our receiver the entire time. Also made sure to force the ball carrier back inside, so my backers could make some plays. In spite of the loss, I am grateful to have played the last home game of my high school career. Week 8 vs Fossil Ridge. We drop a tough one at home. Played Strong Safety this week, always willing to fill in and do what’s best for the team. 4 solo tackles, 2 assist tackles, 6 total tackles. We played a lot of man coverage this week, made sure to stay on top of my receiver and stay true to my assignment. Week 7 at Brighton. We drop a close one to our crosstown rivals. I recorded 3 solo tackles, 2 assist tackles, and 5 total tackles. I didn’t get much action to my side, but made sure to stay involved every play. Whether it was tracking down the ball carrier, containing the outside, or staying true to my coverage. I made sure to give it my all on every snap. Week 6 vs Fairview. Drop one to a great team. I guarded #3 player in Colorado, Toray Davis. Had a pass break up on him, got physical, and made my presence felt. I recorded 2 pass break up, 1 solo tackle, 3 assist tackles, 4 total tackles. Also did a lot of things the stat sheet doesn’t show. Containing the outside, forcing the runner inside to the backers, jamming and throwing the receiver off his route. It’s on to our crosstown rival, Brighton. Looking to bring the superintendent’s cup back to PV!
