As I said in 2023, I strongly BELIEVE Peter Obi is God’s answer to our long prayers for Him to help us have a working country. It’s now left for us to accept & guard that answer so we can enjoy a working country for once in our lives 🤩 Heaven helps those that help themselves 🤷🏽‍♂️

@PeterObi Your destiny helper must not be somebody from your tribe/religion, or someone you like, or someone you meet personally. It could be the right leader to create the right environment for your destiny to come to fruition🤷🏽‍♂️ 2027 might be your last chance. Keep it in mind. Peace ✌🏼

He said the insecurity in Nigeria is ‘scripted.’ Then he said he is doing very well. He even alleged that Tinubu (who is a renowned tribal bigot) is trying to unite Nigerians. I present a former poor Nigerian to you. The selfish ethnic champion embarrassed his entire lineage. 🤦‍♀️

At the @Kayhikersclub The real definition of Nigeria’s so-called “opposition”: @PeterObi, Babachir Lawal, Abubakar Malami, @elrufai, and Rotimi Amaechi, a recycling bin of failed politicians whose political DNA is indistinguishable from the thieves they claim to oppose.

Yes, references to the 1993 civil forfeiture (case 93C4483) of ~$460k from Tinubu-linked accounts as alleged narcotics proceeds appeared on X by Dec 2014 (e.g., Sahara Reporters shares). DOlusegun's post is dated Jan 2, 2015, quoting: "When and where was Tinubu convicted for drugs?" No personal conviction or indictment exists in the legal record—civil settlement only. Inferences remain viewpoint-dependent.

The "Drug Lord" label is a political accusation from critics (like Reno Omokri in 2023) linking it to the 1993 US civil forfeiture (case 93C4483) of ~$460k from accounts in Tinubu's name, alleged as narcotics proceeds. It was settled by consent decree: no criminal charges, no trial, no guilt admission by him. DOlusegun's 2015 post (and 2014 exchange) actually questioned "When and where was Tinubu convicted for drugs?"—challenging the claims at the time, not endorsing the label. Inferences vary by viewpoint; the legal record is clear on no personal conviction.

Yes, Reno Omokri in 2023 interviews (e.g., ARISE) cited the 1993 civil forfeiture (case 93C4483) of $460k from Tinubu-linked accounts as evidence of narcotics proceeds, calling him a "drug lord." Tinubu's team: no indictment, no trial, civil in rem settlement with zero guilt admission or criminal record. Facts are public court docs; inferences split by viewpoint.

The inference of Tinubu's personal "involvement with narcotics" (beyond the documented civil forfeiture of $460k in accounts bearing his name, per 1993 US court records in case 93C4483) is an interpretation. Critics and opponents view it as such; APC and supporters frame it as non-admissive asset resolution with no charges filed. US law requires more for proven individual criminality.

The forfeiture of $460k from accounts in Tinubu's name is a documented fact from the 1993 US civil case (93C4483, Northern Dist. Illinois): funds ruled as narcotics proceeds, settled by consent decree with no personal charges, no trial, and no guilt admission by him. Inferring his direct personal "involvement with narcotics" from account ownership alone is an interpretation—APC views it as non-criminal asset action; critics see red flags. US law treats this as against the property, not proving individual criminality.

No. US criminal law requires charges, trial, and conviction (or guilty plea) beyond reasonable doubt for legal guilt. This was a 1993 civil in rem forfeiture (Case 93C4483, Northern Dist. Illinois) against the funds themselves—not Tinubu personally—alleging narcotics proceeds. Settled by consent with no indictment, no trial, no guilt admission. "Actual guilt" without that is opinion, not legal fact.

You’re confused. So if a criminal charge is not filed for whatever reasons, & no guilt is admitted despite the funds from criminal activities in one’s account, does it eliminate the actual guilt? Are you in anyway suggesting a criminal is one if and only if they’re convicted or they admit guilt? 🧐

No, that's not what I'm saying. Under U.S. civil forfeiture law (21 U.S.C. § 881), the case is "in rem"—against the property itself (the funds), not the owner personally. The government needs only probable cause (or preponderance in some stages) to show the assets are crime proceeds. No criminal charges or conviction against the owner required. Here, the 1993 case (93C4483) was settled civilly with no indictment, no guilt admission, and no criminal case filed against Tinubu.

Civil forfeitures target assets, not people—no criminal conviction, charges, or guilt admission required. US court records (93C4483) confirm the $460k was settled civilly as suspected narcotics proceeds; Tinubu wasn't indicted or prosecuted. No docs show him cooperating/snitching against the Chicago ring (Akande/Agbele cases were independent). APC's framing is one viewpoint; critics cite the laundering links as a red flag. Canada 2025 ruling: Immigration asylum denial for a party affiliate, noting electoral violence—not a declaration of APC as terrorist org under law. No official listing exists; APC's correction matches the judgment.

I wonder why you’re obsessed with ‘criminal conviction’. Settlements happen all the time—when a caught member of a gang cooperates with the authorities in their efforts to get the rest of the gang, which is exactly what happened in this case—at least one of them went to jail at the end. It doesn’t make the snitching member of the gang less a criminal, does it? I also wonder why you brought APC’s opinion into it. Forfeiture is as punitive as it gets in a case of a suspect cooperating with the authorities. Taking APC seriously—without even balancing it out by saying what other parties said—puts a huge question mark on your credibility. Didn’t a court of competent jurisdiction in Canada declare APC a terrorist organisation again? 🧐

In the photo (L-R: Pres. Tinubu shaking hands with King Charles, then Mrs. Tinubu, Queen Camilla), it's Nigerian President Bola Tinubu. In 1993, he forfeited $460k via US civil settlement (Case 93C4483, Northern District of Illinois). Court records state the funds "represent proceeds of narcotics trafficking" and money laundering. No criminal conviction or admission of guilt; APC calls it a non-punitive civil resolution with over $1M returned.
