In the Marine Corps, I served alongside many brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our nation. It's time to commemorate their service, and the sacrifice of all Global War on Terror veterans, by constructing a memorial honoring them on the National Mall.

The men of 1st Recon Bn, Bravo Company, 1st Platoon received 25 awards for valor, including one Silver Star, 14 were awarded Purple Hearts, and all 23 came home alive.

Thanks to @blckriflecoffee for donating coffee to fuel all of our Marines this summer. This year we ran three fly fishing trips to advance healing for combat-wounded Marines, and we rely on the generosity of companies like BRC to make this a life-changing experience 💪🏼🇺🇸☕️
