Because Takaba is kinda retarded, he'll see Mahoraga as much more present threat plus, he doesn't look human and attacks like a curse, so Takaba will likely assume he is a Cursed Spirit. The whole thing w/Takaba is that people DON'T understand his brand of humor. Kenjaku was different because he knew and enjoyed what Takaba did. Gojo or Sukuna is going to be unable to fulfill his desire for laughs, and since this is EOS Takaba, he has the better mental resolve from Kenjaku.

Niggas really glaze Mahoraga. First off Takaba's no-kill rule is off the table, secondly he needs to directly adapt to Comedian, which is an insanely complicated technique. Look how long Infinity took to adapt to. Finally, add in the fact that Takaba is going to be using other shit, Mahoraga has to spread the adaption across everything that is thrown at him, vastly reducing the time it takes to adapt to Comedian. Takana kills him before he can adapt.
