To experience the creation of new people who are more like you than anyone you could ever meet since they're made from you - passing on your good genes/traits. To make an impact on the future of mankind by raising your children well and instilling values that can be passed down through the generations. You could potentially have hundreds of thousands of future descendants who largely share your core values. To give you a sense of purpose in life that's much greater than what you can have as a single childless person who is essentially just working to pay their own bills. Children and grandchildren provide a lifelong sense of growth and progress which brings happiness and contentment. To have the unique experience of the parent/child bond from a new perspective. Your children will love you and be more excited to spend time with you than any other person. Why wouldn't you want to get married and have kids?
