1) What does “victory” really mean in this US-Israel versus Iran war. A 🧵. It’s been four weeks since it all kicked off on February 28. For some it’s perceived as an unfair fight. A majority in that chamber voted yes. I warned them they had it exactly backwards. Today, reality has delivered its verdict. This very urgent debate—requested by Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates—confirms what the facts have long shown. That Iran’s radical theocracy is devoted to exporting war, terror, chaos and death across the region — and the world. Why do you have no agenda item instead on the Islamic Revolutionary Guards that murder their own people, hunt critics across Europe and America, and export terror on four continents? If the UN is serious about protecting peace, you must choose: between illusion and truth, between appeasing aggression, and confronting it.

@g_vonlutzau @MatthiasHartel @Benoise_Jake Meine Großeltern in Hamburg bekamen Nachtspeicherheizung. Die waren so dermaßen glücklich, besonders mein Opa, der die Kohlen aus dem Keller in den dritten Stock tragen durfte.

Als meine Mutti noch alleinerziehend war und mit uns zwei Jungs in der alten Wohnung lebte, kamen immer Anfang Herbst die Kohlenmänner, wie ich sie nannte. Die schleppten dann die bestellten Kohlen genauso wie auf dem Foto zu sehen in unseren Keller, denn wir hatten kein Kellerfenster. Mutti wartete immer schon auf sie und wenn sie fertig waren, bekam jeder ne Flasche Bier in die Hand gedrückt und nen Schnaps zum gleich trinken, den sie auch gleich weg kippten.„Die armen Kerle“ meinte Mutti immer „was die hart arbeiten müssen“. Wer kennt das auch noch so? Wer hat es auch noch erlebt? Die sozialistische Ofenheizung? Und im Westen war das Anfangs wohl auch nicht anders, während es in der DDR bis zum Ende so üblich war.

Wer keine Argumente mehr hat, greift zur Diffamierung. Schwach, Anabel. Und keine Sorge, mit dir möchte ich nichts mehr zu tun haben. Erstens, du bist homophob geworden und wolltest mir den Mund verbieten beim Thema Ulmen, weil ich schwul bin. Zweitens trieft dein Männerhass aus jeder Pore, sodass ich mich für deinen Sexismus einfach nur noch schäme. Finde deinen inneren Frieden mit dir und lass deinen Hass los, nicht für mich, sondern für dich.
