My dear front-end developers (and anyone who’s interested in the future of interfaces): I have crawled through depths of hell to bring you, for the foreseeable years, one of the more important foundational pieces of UI engineering (if not in implementation then certainly at least in concept): Fast, accurate and comprehensive userland text measurement algorithm in pure TypeScript, usable for laying out entire web pages without CSS, bypassing DOM measurements and reflow

I recently did some projection mapping experiments by borrowing a projector, and built a cube and started projecting onto it using tools like @splinetool and Aftereffects. The results were unreal and trippy. thanks to @paradoxrenders for making that crazy cube

Here’s a draft: In today’s rapidly evolving landscape, let’s dive into something nobody is talking about. 🧵 Here’s the thing — we need a comprehensive, robust glossary of AI slop phrases so people can stop seamlessly leveraging them in every single post. It’s not just about the word “delve.” It’s about the entire tapestry of hollow buzzwords that have turned half of X into a LinkedIn fever dream. Let that sink in. We need a proper meta-analysis. A living document. A north star, if you will, that helps people navigate this unprecedented paradigm shift in how we communicate online — and realize they sound like a chatbot wearing a trench coat pretending to be a thought leader. The implications are staggering. And by that I mean I just asked an AI to write a tweet and it used the word “multifaceted” three times. Most people don’t realize their posts now read like a blender full of TED talks and corporate away-day slides. If your tweet contains “unpack,” “foster,” and “actionable insights” in the same sentence, that’s not a hot take — that’s a system prompt. Save this for later 🔖 Repost if you agree 🔁 Follow me for more game-changing, jaw-dropping, paradigm-shifting content like this 👇 (This entire post was written by Claude except for this part where I wrote that it was written by Claude.)

@jaredef @_chenglou Is it ironic the text on this site is outside the viewport width or is that intentional?

Guys, do you know that OpenAI and Google are also training much better models than the one they have available for public use right now? Source: I thought about it for 5 seconds

@ryolu_ The further you are from actually building the thing, the easier it is to talk yourself into features that shouldn't exist. Shipping shapes clarity.

@thenanyu I've worked with good PMs who've never prototyped, I believe they are still getting paid.
