@Alina_Eidl Depends on our goals. The point is we can now and for some, the creation of a token or "smart contract" enables progress towards their goals. "Currency" may be transcended; we still send documents and fax machines still exist, just like the horse and cart.

@BlockZombie The closest examples I can think of following that model are countries that relinquished controls over their national currencies in favor of USD Perhaps that’s why these are also where accepting BTC/other crypto as legal tender would be easier from social acceptance standpoint
