@BlueSpeedNo1 it's that the initial conflic between Nicole and her father, feel similar and how Eggman is reluctant to accept Sage in the voice notes. So at least i think they use that history as reference

I was shared this image recently. I do not know the source. If anyone knows, share it with me so I can properly credit the image. But this image is important in a way since it vocalizes the frustrations fans feel regarding Sally. Fans have wanted to see Sally Acorn in the mainline IDW comics. As it stands, her only appearance was in the Sonic Forces prequel comic (Rouge has pictures of her and Bunnie on her wall). Some believe that Sally appeared in that Chaotix issue as well, rather a redesign. I'm still not sure if that's meant to be Sally, if it is, then cool, but otherwise, I can see fans wanting that. Personally I am mixed on the idea. On one hand, I would really like to see Sally interact with Tangle, Whisper, Jewel and Lanolin. I think she'd have great chemistry with all of them. On the other hand, I'm not particularly fond of IDW's writing. The comics just aren't interesting to me, and I do worry that should Sally appear, she'd have the same writing issues the other characters have. I'd be grateful of course, but I really want the writers to step up. As for that Saturday Morning Adventures line, given that TMNT has it, it makes sense for Sonic to have it too. I'd actually be fine with Sally only appearing in that if anything. She doesn't need to appear in the mainline comics, even if I feel like she'd be a great ally to The Diamond Cutters. TMNT acknowledges all parts of its history. Shame Sega is hesitant to do so themselves. I do agree that I would like to see Sally in CrossWorlds. Given that interview regarding Deep Cut Characters, there is a slight chance of it happening. As cool as it would be seeing Sally in a Sonic movie, I'll admit, I'm not sure how good her chances are. She needs to compete with the game characters. Fans will want to see the likes of Silver, Blaze and The Chaotix as well. But if Sally appears, then that would be great. Lastly, regarding that Youtooz line, that is the big one. Sally has been trending high over the last couple of weeks since the Plushie was announced and has received a lot of votes. Out of everything, Youtooz is the best chance since it's the biggest evidence of the support Sally has. Evidence that is going to be too obvious for Sega to ignore. If they try to, well we have a way to tell them what we want. My concern with this panel is the demanding part. I've always believed that we need to be careful when demanding things since we gotta show some manners about Sally. But given how long many fans of waited, be it original fans who remember the show and comics, or newer fans who came across the show and comics and want more, at some point I guess you should be much more assertive. It's all about balance. But anyway, good panel that has a lot to say. It shows the stubbornness of Sally Acorn fans who want what's best for the character. The mission is hard but not impossible. So let's keep at it. ~MR
