@curlingbill @wjtwheatrig @vaderbogger Great harvest where in actual fact malting barley was not needed. Had at least 10 loads rejected and NEVER for the same reason. Nitrogen, skinnings, pre germ, and to cap it all the last load GAPE! for the first time ever. Someone is having a laugh

First estimates of Scottish harvest available from @SGRESAS show that spring #betterbarley production and average yield at its highest over the past 10 years. Also a good year for oats and the winter crops did quite well. Full details from gov.scot/publications/c….

Didn't mention the electric fence was off. Wee Walk from home yesterday. Old bus came through East Saltoun must have been 40 years old, just made it up the hill. Then up through Saltoun big wood, burns water flows through our farm. Loads of rural café's go find them in E.Lothian
