Not to get nerdy but I work in Quant Finance (think Jane Street, Citadel) — it’s straight up illegal to trade on insider info. CDL pros can get dropped/retire and immediately bet on player lines? You’ve got months of private scrim data, internal team dynamics, direct player contact. That’s a massive informational asymmetry. Imagine said former Pro told GM8 to throw their C9 match so you put in $100k in picks. You come out with $3.3M (33-1 odds on Polymarket) and distribute the funds with the GM8 boys.
