Serbia has a population of just 6.7 million and yet they have the best basketball player in the world and the greatest tennis player ever in Nikola Jokic and Novak Djokovic. Amazing. 🇷🇸💪🏻

5 goals in just 180 mins for Borac since his first against Zrinjski. It will be interesting to see how he adapts to modern football as someone who is a 'specialized' player. Not a winger and not a center-forward, but a second striker who likes to play off of one. Seeing as most teams nowadays only play with one forward, how he adapts to that tactically and finds his way on the pitch as he moves up to higher levels of competition will be his challenge. The talent is obvious though. Bright start so far and credit to Marinović and Borac on managing and easing him into the team as he begins his pro journey.

FT: Posušje 0–3 Borac 🔥 Another dominant away performance from Borac, and 16-year-old Matej Deket scores again. Star in the making ⭐️

It is honestly so disappointing to see what FIFA has done with this World Cup. I knew prices were going to be high, but not unjustifiably high like they are now. I, like many others, was excited for the chance to witness a World Cup in person. But that dream is gone because I simply cannot justify spending hundreds of dollars on tickets, and that is not even including the extremely high cost of parking and everything else around it. The beauty of football is how accessible it is. It is a sport that connects people from all backgrounds. The World Cup was always meant to celebrate the game, bring different cultures together, and unite fans across the world. Seeing reports of tickets being priced as high as $10,000 for a group stage game completely goes against that idea. I do not understand how FIFA can justify this, but at the same time it is not surprising. Saying that prices are high because Americans are used to paying premium prices is one of the worst excuses I have heard. Many Americans are already working multiple jobs just to live comfortably. If people in the host country cannot even afford to attend, how can these prices be considered reasonable. It also completely ignores international fans. The World Cup is supposed to be global, yet these prices make it nearly impossible for many fans traveling from other countries to be there. That takes away from the atmosphere and what makes the tournament special. At this point, it feels like the sport is being over commercialized to the point where it is becoming inaccessible. The identity of football is being lost. The people who truly love and support the game are being pushed out, and instead the experience is being reserved for those who can simply afford it. That is not what the World Cup is supposed to represent. @FIFAcom @FIFAWorldCup DO BETTER

I get the premise, he's showing a lot of promise in a small sample size. But he's realistically not even a top 15-20 player in our league yet. People are just worried we'll let him slip and play for Serbia, but it doesn't seem like that's under threat by his comments and interviews. The U21 NT is where he realistically belongs for now. Showed flashes but looked green and struggled physically at times against Israel. But he can always progress rapidly and things can change in 1-2 years' time, especially considering the level of talent we're talking about here.

Congrats Bosnia. but let's be real this 'historic' qualification feels more like a participation trophy for the Balkans than actual football merit. Italy got robbed by VAR and penalties again, while half your team plays for other countries anyway. Enjoy Qatar 2026, just don’t start another war when you get knocked out in the group stage

@fifa_romania Crazy thing about Italians is they are crying about a young player taking a penalty when every one of Bosnia’s penalty takers was extremely young
