How the Quality Loss Option (QL) Works When QL is elected, you can substitute your pre-quality adjusted production amount for both the 2021 and 2023 crop years. In this example, the QL increases your actual production history (APH) from 80 bushels/acre to 100 bushels/acre.

Do you produce specialty crops such as fruits, vegetables or tree nuts on your farm? Many of them are eligible for individual crop insurance policies or you can protect your entire operation through the Whole Farm Revenue Protection insurance program. rma.usda.gov/sites/default/…
