@interesting_aIl I call bullshit on the $1100 a month for your apartment in the heart of Bangkok. I was literally looking at accomodation tonight as I just applied for a DTV and I'm moving there soon. What area of Bangkok?

After a lot of paperwork, I woke up this morning to this need
My visa has been approved and in one week I’ll be living in Thailand🇹🇭
I’m very nervous to start this new adventure but excited to connect and discover everything about this country, to take me to another level, both personally and professionally
It’s exactly what I needed, and I’m really excited for all of you to see the progress with me

I am now in Thailand and I confirm.
Israelis are not welcome.
Here, they have created their own « Zionist only » enclaved communities.
Zionism is a dangerous, xenophobic, violent ideology.

The reason I left Dubai is not because I felt unsafe, but because the situation there consumes everyone.
Even the influencers claiming that “life goes on” end up talking about nothing else, which honestly proves my point.
Over the past days I have done little besides replying to hundreds of messages, making calls with family and friends all the time, and constantly following the news.
On top of that, nobody seems to talk about anything except the ongoing conflict. There is a strange atmosphere that reminds me a bit of the COVID period, and I didn’t like that feeling at all. Why would I willingly experience something like that again? I dealt with it for a week, and that was already enough.
At the same time, my family was very worried and strongly encouraged me to leave. And I listen to them.
And honestly, I also think it is poor risk management to simply assume that the air defense systems will never be depleted, or that Iran won’t take other unexpected actions.
When you combine all of these factors, I simply couldn’t find a good reason to stay in Dubai. I could barely get any work done, and it was almost impossible to have a conversation with people about anything other than the conflict.
For me, those are more than enough reasons to leave.
