New @CTMay3: A bit later I ask the reason again. “God did not have a son,” Mom says this time. “There is one God and he didn’t have any children.” Then she backpedals and says she’s being crotchety. splicetoday.com/writing/hey-ch…

@CTMay3 @ArtCandee See, we agree! I knew we could get there.

New @TheLiamGaughan: Given how quickly The Walking Dead declined in quality, Invincible should make some thoughtful edits. splicetoday.com/pop-culture/in…

@CTMay3 @ArtCandee You really believe that war is about precision? It's about chaos. Nothing could be less precise. That's why there's so many friendly fire deaths.
English

@SubBeck @ArtCandee If they meant to bomb that school, they fought without honor. If they didn't mean to, they fought without precision.
English

@CTMay3 @ArtCandee I'm not even for this war but the allies killed at least 500,000 German civilians in WWII. Probably some of them were school children. That's war. Nobody wanted them dead.
English

@CTMay3 @ArtCandee Sorry, but can't buy this line of "reasoning." It leads to nowhere. Just a distraction from the serious points to be made.

This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen

@NewWaveIngenue @NateSilver538 Actually no. What you did was write a tweet w/out reading the article.
2nd pgraph: "The alliance, built after World War II to deter the Soviet Union and keep the peace in Europe," etc.
That's from the version w/ the "North America" headline.
Completely wrong on your part. Wow!
English

@NateSilver538 This is a tpyo. What NYT did was write an entire piece based on a premise that the A in NATO stood for America. It went past proofers and editors. Anyway it’s paywalled so WGAF what the content is if you don’t pay for it? It has no value.
English

Honestly seems woke to be this relativistic? Hopefully we can walk and chew gum at the same time and recognize 1) this was a dumb typo, 2) sometimes NYT/MSM make more serious fuckups, and 3) Catturd shouldn't get 50x the engagement of serious reporting on endangered soldiers.
Stephen L. Miller@redsteeze
New York Times couldn't get the initials for NATO right three days ago. "Twitter needs to be artificially boosting the New York Times more" The amount of digging on this here it's kind of impressive.

Anyone who can watch a tv ought to know that Trump doesn't measure up. But somehow he keeps getting a pass.
Joe Walsh@WalshFreedom
The truth is we’ve always held Donald Trump to a pathetically low standard - the lowest standard any politician has ever been held to. Trump gets away with behavior no other politician would ever get away with. He’s treated like a child who doesn’t know any better. Shameful.
English

@HellcatBruce Topline doesn't settle it.
Congress was Democrat and more liberal than now, and a lot of state and local govts had liberal policies w/ results that conservatives deplored. NYC became a national emblem of undisciplined govt spending and its consequences.

Nixon and Ford were president until 1977.

When liberals ask me why I became a Republican and voted for Reagan, I always say: Because I lived through the 70s
