@wanoposwirl Depends on the venue. Check your venue's rules. Worst case, you can call the venue directly. Both the San Jose Civic and the Peacock Theater did not stop me for having my portable battery.

@x1builder @TsuruRoach Dropping the penlight when quick changing to another queued penlight with a specific light on is usually the culprit.
