A good Samaritan standing by the water sees the whole thing happen and immediately swims over to check what was tossed in. The water is moving pretty swiftly, so I'm glad he made it there in time to grab it. The good Samaritan brings the bag back to shore where he opens the double-bagged bag. When he finally opens both bags he finds a cat inside! This is straight-up heartbreaking, infuriating and pure evil that someone would do this to a helpless animal — but I have to think that God put this good Samaritan at the right place at the right time.
