This interview is absolutely superb.

I recently visited all the D-Day landing beaches. The most poignant moment for me was the British Normandy Memorial above Sword Beach. 1475 silhouettes bring home the scale of the sacrifice on these beaches 80 years ago. it should not be forgotten.

I can count a dozen times in the past 5 years I’ve been in press conferences/ interviews with Vaughan Gething and he has lambasted the UK Tories for failing to “respect” Wales and Welsh democracy. IMO, if he loses a no confidence vote within the Welsh Parliament and blithely dismisses it as a “gimmick”, it will lay bare the hollowness of his previous statements. It will suggest that Welsh democracy is not something to be respected and nurtured, and is rather a vehicle for personal political advancement. Right, now back to my holiday.
