Our Carson Station softball team showed up and showed out yesterday! 💪🥎 They battled hard, winning three games straight and making it all the way to the finals. While they fell short in the last game, their teamwork, hustle, and heart were on full display all day long.

Guess what we did this weekend? Oh… just a little something called an Ironman 70.3 and a Half Marathon! Deputy Morelle ran the LA Zoo Half Marathon (13.1 miles) and placed 2nd in her age category for females — way to go! Deputy Nakasaki crushed an Ironman 70.3 in Idaho.

Today, we honor and remember Chaplain Bruce Bryan, lovingly known as the “Chaplain of the Hood.”

🚨 Last week, in honor of CPR and AED Awareness Month, our Carson Station deputies participated in CPR training to sharpen their life-saving skills. We are committed to continuous training to better serve and protect our community. 💪🏽🫀 Your safety is our priority!

Congratulations to Sergeant Thurmisha Lockhart on receiving her 25 Years of County and Department Service Awards, and to Detective Robert Long for his incredible milestone of 30 Years of County and Department Service!

Chief Valdez and Commander Torres had the honor of presenting Captain Norman with her 30-year service award, recognizing three decades of dedication, leadership, and commitment to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Congratulations, Captain Norman!
