Steven Spielberg tells Hollywood to keep making original movies as he debuts new "Disclosure Day" footage at #CinemaCon. “If all we make is known branded IP, we’re going to run out of gas. There is nothing more important than giving the audience visual stories, and they can be in any form, but we need to tell more original stories.” variety.com/2026/film/news…

Lost media is one of the worst experiences that can happen in animation. Stone protectors was considered lost media until four years ago when the final episodes were found on European broadcasting tapes. We have some partial lost shows like Skysurfers Strikeforce and Barn Yard Commandos. Hopefully this one can be found soon. 🙏

We need a Lost Media search party for the 1983 bootleg film Doraemon: Robot Wars. Only a 30 sec clip and a couple screenshots resurfaced online. It has been 42 years since this movie has been released yet has no home video releases.

I loved Pete’s Dragon (1977). Not sure I want to revisit it and risk breaking the magic, but what a cast Mickey Rooney and Helen Reddy were terrific, Shelley Winters was gloriously grubby, and Jim Dale & Red Buttons had live‑action Fox and Cat from Pinocchio energy. Good memories

@FreezinIceKirby Honestly, I think I would assign the Samurai Pizza Cats to that mission. Much more fitting tone wise. Hey, they've already got the spaghetti! (Yes, that movie was screen cancer wrapped in a fever dream. 😂😂)

@CelStacker I kind of hate that my mind started wishing we could see one of these involving the Swat Kats and that Joseph Lai film about the galaxy inside that woman. ...I'm never gonna forget about that movie. 😅

You don’t have to be perfect to be loved, or appreciated. Being true to yourself, and everyone is what makes you so loved, and cared for. Embrace yourself, and your authenticity, as that is what makes you so special and adored! 💖

I never did post a good pic of my booth at #AnimationYall2026 - may as well post it now! My takeaway from the expo is that I have a lot to level up in, including taking lots more photos with folks and posting more. Never to late to learn- I'll be back next year!

Pretty disgusted at the state of the entertainment industry. I know artists never get treated fairly, but yeah, this sucks. I do hope everyone wanting to follow a career in the arts plays it smart and recognizes the landscape is completely different to what it was 10 years ago.
