@CivilAdam @AlixPopham Tackle rugby for U18s harms a child's brain, the criminal legal perspective is no child can consent to harm nor can an adult consent on their behalf, is a failure in duty of care, against rugby safeguarding, by policy definition is child abuse - we call it 'child brain abuse'.

@SmilerTurner @AlixPopham Absolutely, it’s the sport I love and has given myself, my family and so many others such an amazing experience. I want my children and then their children to get that also! Of course the game needs to be safe. I don’t know the answer. But stopping contact all together is not it!

#ProjectAfrica Day 198/199/200/201 Day 198: 70km Day 199: 50km Day 200: 12.2km Day 201: 40.1km Some really physically tough days out there. Had a lower back issue which has got increasingly problematic over the last few days. Want to say a massive thank you to the incredible amount of responses I had to my story asking for some advice from any specialists. So sorry I haven’t been able to read them all but the help is much appreciated. I’ve spoken to a few people and it seems like the problem is coming from some overworked muscles that are pulling stuff around back there and messing with a nerve in my back. Hoping some good stretching and lighter load over the next few days will see this off. Painful one on the road even reducing down to a walk the last couple of days. Entire lower left side seizing up, shooting pains down my leg, and even the whole thing just going dead today, wobbling about like a right lemon🤣 Good gobble I’ll be honest but the party simply must stay rolling at this point in whatever capacity possible. Deep heat getting sprayed around the van like a 5 quid bottle of champers. @perfecttednrg kickstarting another backs to the wall performance tomorrow. Till the end🫡
