@RobertHCCSD Count day for one. Getting that letter today was heartbreaking for those educators, students, parents. I’m sure an equally tough day for Principals.

As I pull up to a brand new school, I can’t help but wonder how many educators no longer get excited when they get to work. Furthermore, I would bet that “pay” isn’t the reason they are not enthusiastic for the day.

So grateful for @annmarie_perone We handed out the kids’ well deserved Dance Company jackets, “Bag of Sunshine” professional photos, and the kids did a CDC sister gift exchange. Felt so great to see their smiling faces in person even if it was for a few minutes. @ClarkChargers
