[ Closed interaction for @TRUTHANDJUST1CE ] Earlier, Cook wasn't sure if they would talk to Guard like normal again. Now? They nervously stood outside of the Security office, plate in hand. They decided to keep it simple and make sandwiches. Guard did like them last time...

@TRUTHANDJUST1CE “ .. Okay!! Okay! Yeah! I dunno why I had to ask, haha,” they laughed nervously. “ I’m glad! Good talk, good talk! ” “ Sorry if I made things weird, haha, silly me! I’ll just, um, get out of your way. I hope you enjoy your food! ” They feel like they should leave.

@ClumsyYelloChef [Guard's visor widened almost imperceptibly at the question before it softened.] "I would hope so." [They shrugged.]

@TRUTHANDJUST1CE “.. Are we still, um, friends..?” They asked quietly. They’re not sure why they’re nervous, asking the question.

@ClumsyYelloChef "..Yep." [Guard was also quiet, looking anywhere but Cook.]

@TRUTHANDJUST1CE “ Oh, um, thank you for returning it!” They hold the apron tightly. “ It’s okay, I kind of forgot to take it back after I left it when you fell asleep.” They fell into silence, unsure what else they could say.

@TRUTHANDJUST1CE “O-okay..! Um, okay, that’s good! That I didn’t upset you, I mean!” They didn’t notice they were shaking until Guard pointed it out. “Sorry, I guess I was nervous, haha..” They fidgeted, and shifted nervously. “That’s, uh, pretty much what I wanted to tell you.”

@ClumsyYelloChef [Guard hesitated before gently taking the plate.] "Don't apologize. ..Thank you." [They nodded, one hand reaching up to adjust their hat.]

@TRUTHANDJUST1CE " Um..! Hey, Guard ! I uh.. brought food?" They awkwardly present the plate. " Uh, I... I forgot to ask what you wanted, so I decided to make you the same sandwiches from last time." ".. I? Hope that's fine, haha, sorry.." They shifted awkwardly.

@ClumsyYelloChef [The sound of boots padding against the floor came towards the door. After a few muttered curses, the door opened to Guard standing there.] "..Uh. Hi, Cook." [They looked away, scratching the back of their head.]
