On 2/1, @pequagirlshoops will celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day. NGWSD is a national celebration, sponsored by the Women’s Sports Foundation, to acknowledge and honor all the amazing contributions and accomplishments of girls and women in sports.

The Chiefs improve to 2-1 and open up conference play on Wednesday as they host Oceanside. JV tips off at 5 and and Varsity starts at 7 Congrats to JV who won their matchup against St. John’s 33-22.

Sophomore Grace Trotta added 10 points and 6 rebounds. Senior Mia Baldinger had a game high 9 rebounds. Junior Joely Caramelli provided strong defense in the 4th quarter to help start the Chief run and scored 4 huge points in the final stanza.
