@Cookie2148 Really interesting speech indicating a positive trajectory for change but no mention of HRAFI?

1/ The @CO_AFC catering team excelled themselves this week. A delicious Christmas meal for every Junior Soldier, rounding off the approx 1 million meals served annually to our junior ranks. @ChartwellsInd. 🎅🏼 🎉

@SO2portaloos @Cookie2148 Absolutely. I am in violent agreement, but sense that "we" are still in the minority. Until cognitive capacity and ability is afforded the same level of importance as physical fitness by all aspects of command, we will not see the "Cognitive Gap" close.

SO2 portaloos - a staff officers story!
@CognitiveEdge @Cookie2148 Can you elaborate on your point and how it relates to what I was saying? I think if there’s one person on here believes in the importance of development at all ranks I suspect it is probably cookie. And I’ve spent the last 16 years championing it

AOSB (SSE) 23 reflections a 🧵 The AOSB report adds contemporary evidence, mostly focused on mental agility, to the Arms Selections Boards delivered by the APC. Alongside Annual Reports and the 225B (interview), we provide a pan-Army view. We leave KSE and V&S for the ARs. 😃

@SO2portaloos @Cookie2148 If the outcome is a better soldier/NCO/WO/Officer than our enemies then leaders must understand that cognitive development of all ranks is THE most important facet of leadership. I wonder how many of you believe that?

SO2 portaloos - a staff officers story!
@Cookie2148 I think the process is in great hands. And this thorough feedback in such a public manner really is great!! Well done. From my own personal experience, may I suggest some education left of AOSB (prob not your job)? I have seen 2 TOP quality WO’s depart because they have been 1/

@SO2portaloos @Cookie2148 The issue you describe isn't confined to one segment of leadership. It is a criticism that could be levied at the leadership culture, so far as it is a product and producer of the Army. Leadership is about optimising on outcome by applying influence.
