🚨 Do you understand what happened today.. a single Tuesday.. > Disney pulled out of its $1 billion deal with OpenAI.. the company that spent 100 years suing over Mickey Mouse decided AI video wasn't worth the risk.. > OpenAI killed Sora as a standalone app.. $1 billion in R&D folded back into ChatGPT.. lost the product and the partner on the same day.. > Trump said "we have won this war" with Iran.. then the Pentagon deployed 3,000 MORE troops to the Middle East 30 minutes later.. > MBS personally called Trump pushing him to continue strikes on Iran.. the man running a $930 billion oil fund wants war because war means higher oil prices.. > Iran said they're "willing to listen" to peace proposals.. the fifth contradiction in one day on the same conflict.. > Karpathy exposed a supply chain attack on a Python package with 97 million downloads.. a single pip install could steal every password and crypto wallet on your machine.. the attacker was only caught because they coded it too sloppily.. > Anthropic launched Claude Code auto mode.. AI now approves its own file writes and commands.. same day someone proved the software you trust can steal everything.. > Satya Nadella said the biggest obstacle to AI is convincing people to change how they work.. translation: "we built the replacement, now we need you to train it before we let you go".. > Pinterest's CEO asked governments to ban social media for kids under 16.. the man running a $3.6 billion social media company built on teenage girls saving outfit ideas.. > the $1.5 billion insider trade from this morning still has no investigation.. someone knew about "peace" before the President announced it.. all of this.. one Tuesday.. and you almost scrolled past it. if you're not following me you're finding out about this 48 hours late from someone who read my post.. it's only getting crazier from here.

🚨 Do you understand what happened today.. a single Monday.. > Zuckerberg announced he's building AI to do his own CEO job.. after firing 31,000 people to "protect" it.. > someone bought $1.5 billion in S&P futures FIVE MINUTES before Trump announced halting attacks on Iran.. the biggest insider trade in broad daylight.. > then the Pentagon started deploying airtroops to Iran anyway.. the "peace" lasted 12 hours.. > then Iran launched missiles at Israel tonight.. so the peace someone made $1.5 billion off of was never real.. > OpenAI started guaranteeing Wall Street 17.5% minimum returns AND early access to unreleased models.. nonprofit to "we'll pay you to invest in us".. > Jensen Huang told Lex Fridman "I think we've achieved AGI".. then walked it back in the same sentence.. the man selling the shovels just said the gold rush is over and expects you to keep buying.. > Claude launched an AI that sits at your desk and does your entire job while you're not in the room.. shipped it as a Monday night feature update.. > Goldman Sachs raised US recession probability to 30%.. > the owner of OnlyFans died at 43 with $3 billion.. couldn't buy more time.. > Larry Fink called tokenization "the next internet" after calling Bitcoin money laundering for years.. all of this.. one Monday.. if you're not following me you're finding out about this 48 hours late from someone who read my post.. it's only getting crazier from here.

I’m about to get married, and my fiancé knows I have an inheritance that was left to me by my grandparents. It’s in my name only, and I’ve been saving it for years. Now he’s saying that before we get married, I should put the entire inheritance into a joint account so we can “start fresh together,” or he doesn’t think we should go through with the wedding. I’m 36 already and this is something my family worked hard to leave me. I’m torn between wanting to build a life together and feeling like I’m being pressured to give up something important to me. What do you think I should do? By isitmeaitah

Let me explain what just happened 👇 5 minutes before the President announced a halt to attacks on Iran… someone placed a $1.5 BILLION bet on stocks going up and dumped $192 million in oil. 5 minutes… These trades were 4 to 6 times larger than anything else in the entire market. Whoever did this wasn’t guessing. You don’t risk $1.5 billion on a hunch. There was zero public indication this announcement was coming. No leaks. No press. Nothing. The only people who knew were in the room when the decision was made. Someone in that room picked up a phone. And within minutes they made more money than most Americans will earn in a thousand lifetimes. In a single trade. On a war that cost you $4+ a gallon gas and $16 billion in tax dollars. American citizens funded this war. Politicians are profiting from it. This is not the first time. Every major announcement from this administration has had massive suspicious trades right before it dropped. Tariff reversals. Policy shifts. War decisions. This is the most blatant insider trading operation in the history of American politics. It’s not even close. And it’s happening over and over in broad daylight. You would go to federal prison for trading on a tip from your cousin. These people are front running war decisions with billion dollar bets and nobody will ever ask a single question. Nobody will be investigated. Nobody will be charged. By tomorrow this will be buried under the next satisfying headline. Just like last time. And the time before that. The game is rigged. And they’re not even trying to hide it anymore…

BREAKING: Just five minutes before Trump's announcement to halt the attacks on Iran, massive trades reportedly hit the market. In one move, $1.5 billion in S&P 500 (ES) futures was bought while $192 million in oil (CL) futures was sold. These orders were 4–6x larger than anything else at the time. The trader seemingly made huge gains. Unusual.

Cantillon Effect refers to the uneven distribution of economic benefits and costs that occur when new money is introduced into an economy. Named after 18th-century economist Richard Cantillon, the effect highlights that money is not neutral—its impact depends on who receives it first and where it enters the economy.

🔥 BREAKING 🔥 Glitch shuts Australia's biggest maker of vital fertiliser input for two months. The shutdown of the Yara Pilbara plant comes as a quarter of global trade in ammonia, used for urea fertiliser & mining explosives, is blocked by war. I’m convinced that this war is intended to cause a global depression & famine. Way too many coincidences right now.

Why is Australia refusing to condemn Iran for closing the Strait of Hormuz? Canada, New Zealand, Korea, Japan, Denmark, Norway, Finland have all signed up to condemning Iran’s actions and reaffirming freedom of navigation in the Strait. Why is Australia is totally absent?
Dave Sharma@DaveSharma

If the Labor government is serious about addressing the fuel crisis, then it should be serious about efforts to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. So why was Australia not involved in this joint statement from allies? Did we decline? Or — perhaps worse — were we never consulted?

The Afroman Trial. -Cops raid Afromans house for bullshit reasons. -Steal money, break his door, fuck his house up. -No criminality found whatsoever, no charges at all pressed on Afroman. -Afroman spends the next 3 years making songs that make fun of all the officers involved by name, even using footage of the raid from his own CCTV cameras. -Songs had titles like "Randy Walters is a son of a bitch" and "Lick Em Low Lisa" accusing one of the officers of being a lesbian and sleeping with the other officers wives. -During the raid one officer looked like he was about to eat some lemon pound cake sitting on Afromans counter, Afroman made a whole album calling the officer fat. -The cops get mad and file a lawsuit for defamation. -Afroman turns up to court in a whole American flag suit. -Officers performatively mald and cry while listening to the songs really trying to oversell how badly the songs upset them. -One officer was suing because Afroman made a whole song about him saying he was fucking the officers wife. When the officer was asked if Afroman was really fucking his wife, he said "I don't know". Nuking his own case and establishing that there is a non-zero chance that Afroman might actually be fucking his wife. -As his only witness for the trial, Afroman brought a deputies EX FUCKING WIFE. -The jury ruled completely in favour of Afroman. This entire thing has been a great win for free speech and absolutely fucking hilarious.

Labor takes money from the pokies lobby, from weapons manufacturers, from fossil fuel giants, from banks, from property developers and billionaire tax-dodgers. Is it any wonder the economy is geared to make them rich while everyone else suffers?
