During a dangerous ice storm in North Carolina, gas station owner Hitesh Patel was supposed to close at 10 p.m. Instead, he kept his store open all night so stranded travelers would have a warm and safe place to stay. Among those sheltering inside were a young mother traveling with four children and other motorists who could no longer safely drive on the icy roads. One traveler later shared the story online, saying they would have been freezing in their car if not for Patel's kindness. Sometimes the people who make the biggest difference are the ones who quietly choose to help when others need it most

🚨Breaking: Black man rapes 21-year-old woman in NYC subway station in brutal stranger attack. A savage black man forced himself on a young woman inside the Harlem 125th Street subway station Sunday evening. The 21-year-old victim was alone when the predator struck around 7:40 p.m., leaving her traumatized. NYPD released photos of the suspect — dark complexion, goatee, red glasses, red shirt. This horrific rape shows the growing danger black men pose to women riding NYC subways. Cops are hunting him now. Women must stay alert.

Hey @Delta, quick question. How does a SkyMiles member with over half a million lifetime miles who paid $1,000 for a 1.5-hour flight end up in Boarding Zone 8… of 8? Did your loyalty program get outsourced to an algorithm with a 75 IQ?

🚨Savage Black Men Beast 101-Year-Old Woman in Sick Rape & Beatdown – Smiles in Court. In a disgusting act of pure evil, heartless black men broke into a helpless 101-year-old woman’s home in Milwaukee. They found nothing worth stealing, so they beat her badly and raped her in her own bed. The main monster, Antoine Pettis, showed no mercy to this fragile grandma who had lived over a century. This brutal crime shocked everyone. DNA caught the savage. In court, he smiled arrogantly and joked about becoming a celebrity. Now justice hits hard with decades behind bars. How can black men sink so low and destroy an innocent elder like this? Pure animal rage with zero humanity. This horror must wake people up to the dangers out there. Never forget this nightmare attack on the weakest among us.

In 1969, a bank teller stole $215,000 from his own bank and vanished. He lived as Thomas Randele for 51 years, never caught. On his deathbed in 2021, he confessed to his family and begged his daughter to keep it secret. She made a podcast. Theodore John Conrad, a 20-year-old bank teller in Cleveland, Ohio, walked out of his bank with $215,000 in cash, equivalent to more than $1.8 million today, and disappeared. Inspired in part by the film The Thomas Crown Affair, Conrad carefully planned the theft and evaded authorities by assuming a new identity: Thomas Randele. For more than five decades, he lived an apparently ordinary life. He married, raised a family, worked as a golf professional and car salesman, and avoided the mistakes that often lead fugitives to capture. Despite being one of the longest-running unresolved bank theft cases in U.S. history, he was never arrested. In 2021, as he was dying of lung cancer, Conrad confessed his true identity to his family. Shortly afterward, U.S. Marshals confirmed that Thomas Randele and Theodore Conrad were the same person, finally closing a case that had remained open for 52 years. The story gained renewed attention when Conrad's daughter, Ashley Randele, shared the family secret through the podcast Smoke Screen: My Fugitive Dad. Conrad successfully evaded capture longer than many notorious fugitives. When authorities finally identified him in 2021, he had been living under his assumed identity for over twice as long as he had lived under his real name. © History Pictures #archaeohistories

Be honest with me, Americans 🇺🇸 Do you actually own a gun? In Japan, I have never seen a real one. Not once. Not at a friend's house. Not in a drawer. Never. But online, every American just goes "oh, mine's in the nightstand" like it's a phone charger 🔌 So now I'm genuinely curious: What's YOUR gun? The very first one you ever got? Is this normal everywhere in the US? Or just some states?

If you had jet money — what would you buy? Never thought about it? Dream a little bigger than you normally do. Start here — how many people are you flying with? How far are you going? The answers might surprise you.
