@CommunityWaffle I love this video, and have included it in research talks. It's perfect, because it makes you laugh, but in an uncomfortable way - uncomfortable bc it makes you realize how ridiculous it is that people don't talk to each other.

This morning, I joined @EndLonelinessUK and @kimleadbeater for the Tackling Loneliness Conference. We discussed strategies to strengthen social connection and celebrated people and organizations who are finding innovative approaches to tackling loneliness across the world.

One of our new volunteers waffling away with a customer... for us this is what it's all about; making sure everyone we meet feels seen - whether that's a 1 second smile or a 10 minute chat...
