The horrifying news just keeps on coming. 💔 Aviv Brook, an Israeli citizen, was brutally murdered in Tennessee after he was called to a job as a locksmith last night and was shot to death. May his memory be forever a blessing.

I’m overwhelmed by the news tonight. It’s very strange to feel like you could be taken at any moment, and to know that the people in your life are too busy with paranoia that they’ve been fed by a lying media to understand what real threats to life in the West look like right now. It’s happening before your eyes. Jews are being hunted in real time and you’re saying nothing. Instead you’re screaming at us or ghosting us for not aligning with your social justice utopia that led us here in the first place.

📢📢UPDATE ABOUT MY SUSPENSION📢📢 Want to know how @Columbia treats Jewish and Israeli professors who speak up? Here's an email I just sent the university's leaders. Please retweet, to help expose Columbia. *** Dear President of Columbia University Katrina Armstrong, COO Cas Holloway, Dean of Columbia Business School Costis Maglaras, and General Counsel Felice Rosan, On October 7th, 2024, Jewish groups at Columbia University organized two events to commemorate the one year anniversary of the largest massacre of Jews since the Holocaust: a student-led memorial service and an art exhibit telling the stories of the more than 1400 victims of rape, torture, kidnapping, and murder at the hand of Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and PFLP terrorists. Unfortunately, these events were protested by students, faculty, and staff at Columbia University, organized and led by Columbia University Apartheid and Divest (CUAD) - a coalition of more than 100 student groups that, on multiple occasions, had openly expressed its support of U.S. designated terrorist organizations and eulogized the heads of these organizations. This protest explicitly celebrated, on campus and with the university's seal of approval, the October 7 Massacre, using the name given to these war crimes by Hamas - a U.S. designated terrorist organization - and praising the terrorists who took part in these atrocities. Around 1 pm of that day, in clear violation of the school's instructions and in a clear act of intimidation of the Jewish students holding their memorial events, the pro-Hamas crowd left the designated area of their protest and began to march on campus. These violations were indifferently observed and documented by multiple university officials, including (but not limited to) the university's COO, Mr. Cas Holloway,  Assistant Director of Public Safety, Mr. Bobby Lau, and at least half a dozen University Senate delegates. It was at this point that I confronted several university officials about their refusal to enforce the university's rules, protect the Jewish students, and apply the same standards to all students on campus. As can be seen in the video recordings of these events - which, in line with my approach of complete transparency, have been made public on social media and have been seen by over 2 million people - the university officials all but ignored the concerns expressed by myself, a Jewish undergraduate, and an Israeli student. That evening I was informed by my lawyers that, due to the day's events, the university will be suspending me from campus. To the best of my knowledge, no other member of the university was sanctioned for the day's events, including the heads of CUAD (which orchestrated the march on campus), the faculty advisors of the member student organizations, Prof. Jan Rehmann (the head of the PhD program at the University's Union Theology Seminar, who participated in the protest against the Jewish memorial service and in support of the October 7 Massacre), Mr. Bobby Lau and other Public Safety officials (who failed their duty of upholding the university's rules), the University Senate Delegates on site, and Mr. Cas Holloway (who, refused to help an Israeli student who, in clear violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, was being targeted based on her national origin) On October 15, 2024, I was informed by my lawyers that, starting at 3:00 pm of that day, my suspension was put into effect, barring me from all university premises, including my own office and the Kraft Center for Jewish Student Life - the only safe space on campus for Jewish students, faculty and staff. Importantly, at no point were I or my lawyers informed of (1) the names of those allegedly harassed, (2) the names of those who filed any complaint against me, (3) a description of the nature of the harassment, (4) the names of those who made the determination to suspend my access to campus, or (5) any details about my rights for a due process in this matter. As of today, it has been 38 days since I have been suspended from campus and have yet to be given the details leading up to that decision. On October 28, 2024, I was informed through my lawyers that the university will be giving me three days - until November 1, 2024 - to complete three one-hour training sessions as a prerequisite for lifting my suspension. On this occasion, I was also told that the university required that I provide a written acknowledgement relating to these incidents, something that I refused to do, as innocent people should never be forced to provide false testimony. In addition, despite not being told anything about the nature of the training sessions, the university demanded that I sign a "gag order," something that I refused to do. It is important to note that, at this point, the university threatened that failing to complete three sessions over the following three days - something that, given my schedule, I was unable to do - would bar from teaching in the Spring semester. It has been 25 days since I received this communication. On November 1, 2024, I was informed by my lawyers that the university will "extend the time frame" for completing the training sessions. In addition, having successfully pushed back against the university's insistence that I provide false testimony, I was informed that the university will drop its requirement of an acknowledgement of any wrongdoing. However, since the university has yet to resolve the issue of the 'gag order,' I was not given a timeline as to when these training sessions will take place. It has been 21 days since I received this communication. On three different occasions since - November 6, November 15, and November 21 - my lawyers contacted Ms. Robbie Kaplan of Kaplan Martin, LLP (a civil and commercial litigation firm hired to represent the university on this matter_ with a request for clarification about the status of my suspension and the required training. Needless to say, no clarification or further information was provided. Beyond taking a toll on my mental wellbeing, this prolonged and groundless suspension is limiting my ability to complete my work, including my ability to attend faculty meetings, research seminars, and a professional development event for tenure-track faculty (scheduled for November 13, 2024) with the Senior Vice Dean for Faculty Affairs at Columbia Business School - an event which has clear implications for my future tenure case at the university and, therefore, my future earning potential. Initiated on October 7, 2024 - the day in which I recorded university administrators' failure to ensure the safety of students who were targeted based on their ethnic identity and/or national origin - this suspension is a clear act of retaliation for my speaking up. Given the retaliatory nature of this suspension, its needless prolongation, the university's opacity regarding the accusations and the process leading up to it, and the lack of communication on the matter, I am requesting that this suspension be immediately lifted. In addition, I am still waiting for a reply regarding my email from November 12, 2024, about the ongoing, prolonged, and retaliatory investigation that Columbia University, through the office of the EOAA, has been waging against me. It has been 10 days since I have sent you an email on that regard and I have yet to even receive an acknowledgement from anyone within the university. Unfortunately, this failure to reply fits the university's pattern of minimizing and blatantly disregarding Jewish and Israeli students, faculty, and staff's concerns over the past 13 months (see, for example, my email from August 28, 2024, regarding a direct threat made at me during a CUAD-promoted event). It is exactly for this pattern that Columbia is currently facing two U.S. House investigations, at least one civil lawsuit, and threats of withholding federal funding by President-elect Donald J. Trump. Given last week's event (in which CUAD organized a protest against U.S. Veterans' Day, holding instead a memorial service for Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and PFLP terrorists) and yesterday's events (in which CUAD targeted the Kraft Center for Jewish Student Life on campus), I would like to, once again, extend my willingness to work with the university to solve the issue of support for anti-Jewish, anti-Israeli, and anti-American terrorism on campus. However, before I am able to do so, the university must lift this suspension and conclude its baseless investigation into my personal social media use. As always, I would appreciate a reply, if only to be acknowledged for my humanity. I am looking forward to working with you. Sincerely, Shai Davidai

It astounds me that the leaders at @Columbia University have convinced themselves that everything is fine. Seriously, people like Cas Holloway, the university's COO, are either completely antisemitic or completely incompetent. My vote is on the latter.

The mob at @Columbia is picketing outside of Columbia Hillel, the hub for Jewish life on campus. They’re chanting “Israel will fall” & calling for “freedom” for Palestinian terrorists. This is what happens when you refuse to address pervasive antisemitism, @Columbia.

800 Israeli soldiers have been killed since the beginning of war. Israel could have wiped out Gaza off the map after October 7 genocide, but it didn’t treat Gazans by the same barbaric standards, sent its best children to fight the most dangerous and challenging war of our modern history. I salute the brave foot soldiers who have sacrificed their lives to minimize the civilian casualties in Gaza paying the ultimate price for our freedom.

HORRIFIC: New report shows 72% of US Jewish students don’t feel welcomed on campus. 52% personally experienced antisemitism. We MUST: -withhold federal funding -tax the endowments -deport lawbreaking foreign students -issue non-accreditation -ban DEI from public colleges

I notoriously advocated for a famous DV survivor in 2022. I had the biggest platform and the loudest voice and I used it because the survivor is someone I would throw myself in front of a bus for to this day. Two weeks ago, when the election results came in, I was cancelled by an online fandom that insists it supports this survivor, because I tweeted that Harris/Walz had lost their own race because they hadn't taken a firm enough stance against extremism, radicalism and terrorism. Now, you can pick me apart all you want, and lord knows you all do, but there is nothing morally at odds about the way I think or express myself. You have to learn to be thinking people; people who can hold more than one thought at a time; people who can have compassion for the very real fears that other minorities experience and feel before they come your way. The fear of Islamic extremism in America is justified, particularly given the year of terror that Jewish people experienced here post-10/7, and the continued efforts by the Biden/Harris administration on their way out to thwart Israel's right to defend itself and *the rest of the Western world* from the threat of the Islamic regime of Iran. Do you think life will be better for women in America under a caliphate? Do you know why homophobia is rampant in Europe but nobody talks about it? Do you know why the sex trafficking of minors and the gang rape of young women all over Europe has been sky rocketing for more than a decade and nobody talks about it? Because when they do, people behave in this way: they cancel, they call someone a racist, a xenophobe, an Islamophobe, when in reality we are none of those things. We are the brave, staring the real evil in the face, and doing everything in our power to protect you from it, whatever gender you are, whatever religion, sexuality or race. So no, we don't all feel the same way about this election, and some of us have a damn good reason to want better from the so-called "liberal" Democrats, who have pandered to extreme radicalism during the biggest surge of antisemitism in America in history.

An attack on the only kosher restaurant in DC on the eve of Kristallnacht is designed to terrorize Jews. It is a sign of how emboldened the forces of antisemitism have become in the aftermath of October 7th. Words have consequences. Hate hardens into violence. Those who insist on inciting hatred against both the Jewish People and the Jewish State are sowing the seeds of pogroms and Kristallnachts in the 21st century. History will not judge these Jew haters kindly.

It's amazing to witness 24/7 online moral panic about a future that is not yet here, while there is utter silence and ignoring of Jews being hunted throughout Europe and here in the United States. Antisemitism is moral decay. It is your duty to stop being a bystander.

Wokeism is dead. Identity politics is dead. Virtue-signalling is dead. Trump’s massive win was a total repudiation of all the far-left’s ‘progressive’ (but actually regressive) crap. Common sense will now return to a world that had gone nuts, and thank god for that.
