In observation of Labor Day, Connect Transit services will not operate on Monday, September 4, 2023. Connect Transit will resume service during normal operating hours on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

It is HOT! Come cool off in the Connect FLEX van stationed outside of the Health Department in Downtown Bloomington. We will be there from 1-7 tonight and 9 am - 7 pm Wednesday and Thursday.

Welcome home Redbirds!! Remember - you ride for free with your student ID. Just give it a swipe when you board the bus and you are good to go. The Redbird Express will run every 20 minutes this week and will run on it's regular schedule starting Monday. Here's to a great year!!

Ryan was nominated based on his work at Illinois Farm Bureau as Associate Director of Local Government and Political Engagement. We are proud to have board members who are involved in our community!

Congratulations to our Board Chair, Ryan Whitehouse, for being selected to participate in the Edgar Fellows Program! Only 40 participants were selected out of over 200 nominees. The Edgar Fellows Program focuses on developing leadership in IL across all levels of government.

Connect FLEX has been officially launched for 2 weeks! In that time, this brand new service has provided over 300 rides to over 100 different riders. We are so excited to watch as this service continues to grow and provide public transportation to B-N! connect-transit.com/riders/connect…

We will begin collecting fares again on Sunday, July 23, 2023. If you had an active pass during the time we were not collecting fares, please visit our facility at 351 Wylie Drive to receive an updated pass. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 309-828-9833.

We are gearing up to launch our new service, Connect FLEX! You may have seen these branded vehicles out on the road already as we begin testing our app and training our new drivers. We can't wait to share more details with you throughout the week!

As a reminder, our CT Star Pass is available to all active military personnel and veterans. The Star Pass Program allows qualified individuals to ride Connect Transit services with zero-fare and does not expire. Please visit our website or office for more information.

Thank you to Chestnut Health Systems for providing Narcan training! Narcan is an emergency treatment for narcotic overdoses. While we've have had very few scenarios involving opioids on our system, our staff now feels prepared to handle these situations if called upon.
