Superstoked to return to Brisbane! The last time I was there I played a Soft Pink Truth gig inside Boggo Road prison- now we're moving on to @ima_brisbane thanks to the kindness of @room40speaks and best of all our pal @tuttscorp is opening!

Lovely week ahead at the Cinematheque. We have MORVERN CALLAR (35mm) on Wednesday, before the Bresson retro kicks off on Saturday with PICKPOCKET and L’ARGENT (both 35mm). Our other new program TRANSCENDENCE starts Sunday with SUMMER OF SOUL and BRIMSTONE & GLORY. All films free.

#BiennaleArte2024 Golden Lion for Best National Participation to the #AustraliaPavilion. “In this quietly powerful Pavilion, #ArchieMoore worked for months to hand-draw with chalk a monumental First Nations family tree. Thus 65,000 years of history (both recorded and lost) are inscribed on the dark walls as well as on the ceiling, asking viewers to fill in blanks and take in the inherent fragility of this mournful archive.”
