Writing a pretty long post here. Most of you won’t read it but the real ones will. All eyes on the road ahead. As a reminder, we get the ball rolling in early November. 50% of all $ARENA is now in circulation. We will be easing up on emissions from this point forward. The worst is behind us. We believe this was quite a feat to inherit a dead platform that already had a points system, and mold it into the largest airdrop in Avalanche history. When we took over the app, users were down over $10M collectively from the actions of the original team. Not only did we make all users whole from that period, but if you received your entire airdrop by staying active, you should be profitable by now. This was very important to me and the team. We managed to get almost all participants to hold at least a portion of their airdrop for 12 months as this platform evolved. During that time we took a broken app with just a global feed and the ability to buy and sell tickets into one of the largest social crypto apps by adding: - Stages - Live Streaming - Memecoin tipping - Token Launchpad with built-in social features - a mini App Store - a native dex - custom profile badges - a novel staking mechanism and leaderboard - enhanced ticket trading - native in-app swapping - a new notification system - countless UI/UX additions and QOL improvements We’ve come a long way and been through more together than most will imagine. The highs and the lows. The peak euphoria and the lingering uncertainty. Despite all that we’ve built, all of this is only possible because of you. The strongest community in web3. The Gladiators. Many would say we shouldn’t even be here right now. The chances of reviving a dead platform that got hacked is near zero. Especially when the meta dies down. Most social crypto apps don’t last longer than 3-6 months, once the early farming period ends. But here we are. Still building, still growing, still defying the odds. We enter this next phase with a clear vision. Despite what’s going on around us, the family is stronger than ever. United around our mission. Arena V2. The dawn of a new era awaits.
