@Hoainguyen888 @80slegends I've always said this song defined the Video age and MTV however it was The Sun Always Shines On TV along with Relax that for me defined the 80s Synth-pop from Electro (OMD, Human League, Depeche Mode etc) to Pop (Wham! Culture Club, Spandau Ballet, Adam & the Ants etc)
English

@Majic574 @blitzed80smag1 Mad World was on their debut album 'The Hurting' not 'Songs From The Big Chair' which was Everybody Wants To Rule The World & Shout
English

@blitzed80smag1 Has to be Tears For Fears Songs From The Big Chair but need to mention A-ha's debut album Hunting High and Low which was also released in this year
English

@80slegends As Jealous Guy is a cover, John Lennon album track, so for me it has to be Eternal Flame
English

@80slegends Smalltown Boy was such a breakthrough song as not only by one of the few openly gay bands but also a song about a gay boy who was bullied
English

@80slegends Voted tactically as I guessed correctly that Like A Virgin would run away with this so it's Talking Heads and Burning Down The House which didn't even make the charts and is sometimes wrongly thought of as being unreleased in the UK
English

@80slegends My favourite band are A-ha so no contest for me with their only #1 although I'm hoping Red Box also squeeze through as love Lean On Me from one of the 80s underrated duo's
English

@80slegends I've gone with Go West over PSB but am surprised The Cars are doing so well although it is a great song
English

@80slegends Tears For Fears such a great song which most know from this era
English

@80slegends I didn't read all the songs just saw Land Of Make Believe and Walk Like An Egyptian so went the later and then when saw song leading which would have been my choice however top 2 go through so a lucky tactical vote lol
English

@80slegends Do You Really Want To Hurt Me introduced us to Boy George & CC while The Look Of Love Is ABCs biggest hit but for me it's In A Big Country which wasn't even a Top 10 hit at the time but I'm sure it would have fared better if released after Chance & Wonderland
