BlueSky is a far bigger threat to children than X, Facebook or YouTube.
No social media platform is perfect, but BlueSky has serious child safeguarding issues that need addressing.
Yet somehow it's been left off the ban list.
The Government needs to explain the logic.

Simples:
Release tens of billions from Ed Miliband’s net zero follies for defence capital investment.
Release billions more for day-to-day spending by some tough love for the 10m of working age not working and living on benefits. Plus abandon triple lock.
Go through current defence spending like a dose of salts to root out current waste and inefficiency (which is mega). Cull legacy programmes for platforms soon to be obsolete.

Revealing that on @bbclaurak this morning none of the panel - Carns, Kidron and Madeley - could answer how they would find the extra money needed for Defence. It's very easy to criticise government but much more difficult to govern

The 0.08% rise in defence spending as share of GDP between 2027 and 2030 is all the more unfathomable because Healey reveals the UK intelligence assessment is that Russia could attack a NATO country before 2030. If anything illustrates Starmer is unfit to be PM, it’s that.

Perhaps the grimmest part of John Healey’s brutal resignation letter is that defence spending, projected to be 2.6% GDP by 2027, will only reach 2.68% in 2030. A pathetic 0.08% increase over three years after all that Starmer rhetoric about the dangerous times we live in and how UK would lead the way stepping up to the crease. A real leader would have told Reeves to cough up the dosh and ordered Miliband to hand over a big chunk of his net zero budget. But he’s probably too weak to do either.
