This is exactly what's wrong with our politics: lobbyists rigging the system while working people pay the price. When I'm in Congress, I'll fight for free tax filing and get special interest money out of our politics.

We gave an AI a 3-year retail lease in SF and asked it to make a profit. The AI interviewed and hired full-time employees, applied for credit, and stocked the store with the books Superintelligence and Making of the Atomic Bomb. Visit Andon Market at 2102 Union St now.

Abolitionist John Brown was put to death by the state of Virginia on December 2, 1859.

Hey @decadimitry, we haven't pulled the page. Two things happened: 1) it seems we changed URL structure and broke some links (I hate breaking links so I'm going to ask for that to be fixed) 2) The leader of the Boycott Stripe project wandered off. By that I mean that the volunteer who was trying to start the T4P-affiliated boycott project around Stripe was no longer available (lost interest, or lost time, I dont actually know). This happens all the time - probably 30% of our projects. Our Boycott Shopify project met the same fate, while our Boycott Vercel campaign is going strong. If someone wants to work with T4P to restart the Boycott Stripe campaign, we would love that. No one asked us to pull it, and we wouldn't have if they did.

NEW: Public First, pro-safety AI Anthropic-backed group, is going in “big” to support @Scott_Wiener in his race to replace Pelosi, per source. Wiener is in tough 3-way contest and the big AI PACs had stayed away from the race. LTF hast gotten involved yet Txt subs got first!

I'm not gonna lie, it is frustrating when you ask a patient what's wrong and they just give you a diagnosis. Like "I have a chest infection". OK, you're probably right but I need to know your symptoms to see if I agree with that diagnosis. I can't just take your word for it.

Me reading this in the middle of a 24 hour shift at the hospital 😭

ICE facilities’ medical staff repeatedly failed to diagnose critical illnesses and misdiagnosed patients, according to a Chronicle review. sfchronicle.com/projects/2026/…
