when will people realize that Asia, especially Japan and Thailand, paved the way for queer shows becoming normalized in the media. even if stuff came before and they weren't the first one to ever make a queer show or characters, they helped the market of BL expand and go global so they definitely paved the way and it doesn't hurt to acknowledge that.
