The trustees of Ealing Support Hub (EASE) have decided that our values really no longer align with those of X. We will not post again, while X remains under its current ownership/management. Thank you to colleagues for four years of support & encouragement. #RefugeesWelcome

A reminder for anyone failing to read beyond the headlines that Keir Starmer never met Jeffrey Epstein, had nothing to do with Jeffrey Epstein, wasn't in parliament when Peter Mandelson sent his tip offs to Jeffrey Epstein, his sole contribution to the scandal being to appoint Mandelson as US ambassador. Just in case you were getting confused.

And this shit? This shit better go right along with McSweeney & Starmer. If they want a hope in hell at getting some support back it’s time to abandon the whole Nigel Farage tribute act.

Right now, migrants are crossing safe countries in Europe because of how generous our asylum system is. No more. We’re closing asylum hotels and ensuring that those who break our laws have their support removed.

Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers. This hatred was gradually developed by humans. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder. Auschwitz took time.

If that's what they're willing to do in public, while being filmed, what do they do behind closed doors? bbc.co.uk/news/videos/cp…

Great way to start the term/2026 with biryani donated from our local mosque, lots of familiar faces, some new ones in urgent need of our help and some fab @felixprojectuk spiced apple cakes. Building community one week at a time…

❄️ As temps reach sub-zero, it's important we know how best to support those facing #homelessness. Gestures + essentials can be helpful: fresh socks, gloves, hot drinks, hot food, power banks, an Oyster card or old phone. Services like thestreetlink.org.uk can save lives 🚨

This Christmas, churches across the @dioceseoflondon are demonstrating God’s love to their communities. I had the privilege to see some of it in action at @PerivaleChurch, which is hosting the Ealing Churches Winter Night Shelter. The emergency shelter provides food, warmth and companionship every night from November to March each year, working with 20 churches and 200 volunteers.

Thank you to one of our newer #farm partners, PC Thorold, for these British-grown Brussels. City Harvest rescues surplus produce from UK farms: cityharvest.org.uk/harvest-for-hu… Sprouts thrive in the UK's cold winter + frost makes them sweet! ❄️

We welcomed at least 160 of Ealing’s sanctuary-seekers to our Xmas party yesterday. Such jollity from a choir singing carols, Santa with presents, a magician & much good cheer. Lots of happy people feeling integrated & supported by the end. Thanks to all donors

To the friends & families of the Rob & his wife, and on behalf of the majority of Americans, I’m so sorry this disgusting felon posted such a disrespectful deplorable evil cruel ruthless statement. I’m embarrassed to be an American.

@y_alibhai For a Jewish woman, I spend a huge amount of time in church. That’s because churches host drop-ins for sanctuary-seekers. So I will be in church today, tomorrow and Sunday. Often hold church keys. Am practically a curate (apart from the actual praying!) Hope this puts Tommy off

@ZoeJardiniere Our church saw the confirmation of 8 Iranians last week and has a massively successful Farsi language bible study weekly. Some 25 attend. Several of our members attended the church Xmas fair too. Church, drop-in & sanctuary-seekers build & support each other.

I hate to break it to the pathetic racists who are desperately trying to making US-style Christian nationalism a thing in the UK… But go to a church in this country with a growing congregation & I’m afraid you’ll find, the growth all comes from immigrants! Cry more. 😭😅

Pulling the rug out from under migrant workers is un-British. We promised care workers if they worked for 5 years, they'd get Indefinite Leave to Remain. Changing the rules halfway through is unfair. Ask your MP to sign my Parliamentary Motion: edm.parliament.uk/early-day-moti…
