No single site was tracking which countries have declared energy emergencies from the Strait of Hormuz closure. So I built one over the weekend, because people to deserve to know whats going in one comprehensive source. HormuzTracker.org — a free OSINT tool: → 36 countries monitored with severity classifications → Live oil prices (auto-updating) → Scenario modeler: what if closure lasts 30, 60, 90 days? → Personal cost calculator — what this crisis costs YOUR household → Data export for analysts (CSV, JSON, executive briefing) → Every data point sourced from IEA, FAO, CNBC, CFR, Atlantic Council, WFP, and 10+ others 9 countries in critical emergency. Fuel rationing in Sri Lanka. Schools closed in Pakistan. Military controlling oil depots in Bangladesh. And it's hitting the US too — fertilizer up 30%, planting season at risk, gas climbing. DM me for improvements or suggestions.

Funny how the bot tax is picking up steam in discussions. That's the final nail in the coffin for jobs as we know it.

@yacineMTB Yes, you aren't really engineering unless you write every single line of code, manually, no coding assistant, and debug through every agonizing minute

When you’re dealing with the bottom-line, and tied to the value creation for the company and shareholders — you don’t have to worry about AI taking your “job”

@AoverK Possible, but frontier models face increasing competition from open source models. Problem with that is it’s easier for users to use frontier models, using local requires a level of knowledge

In the next 18 months I can see top frontier AI models costing $1,000+/mo for single user personal plans. As AI model tech matures the economics will shift away from subsidizing models to grow user adoption. We’re already seeing signs of this as valuations and user growth slows
