@nonana4u @ctrldsl A fluid-filled blister. They're generally harmless, but can get infected if they burst (antiseptic cream is your friend). Too hard suction for too long can cause them, but you build up tolerance to them over time.

@ctrldsl There are loads of cheaper offbrand ones too, most are just as good. SuppleNips (and especially the larger Oxballs suckers) get pretty expensive. If you wanna go really hard, the strongest nipple pumps are the acrylic cylinders (eg, from LA Pump)

@ctrldsl Nipple suckers or nipple pumps. The two main brands are SuppleNips (gentle suction, small-medium) and Oxballs (stronger suction, medium-huge). Careful not to overdo it early on, they can give you water blisters that take a 1-2 days to heal

@havokhusky Seagate Exos drives (their enterprise ones) are often cheaper than the Ironwolfs for some reason. If you get the helium-filled ones (afaik the smallest size they offer that in is 12TB), they should be quieter, run cooler, and consume less power than large air-filled drives

Erostek ET312 owners! I'm starting to produce potentiometer boards for the ET312, as the replacement pots are hard/impossible to find now. This allows use of modern, more robust pots. Looking for expressions of interest at this point, but I plan on doing a batch early January
